Berrett-Koehler Foundation
Sharing BK community resources to co-create a world that works for all.
The Berrett-Koehler Foundation is experimental, social justice oriented, and learning driven. The Action-Learning Fellowship, our flagship program, brings together thoughtful community builders with ideas and resources from the Berrett-Koehler community, to create a space for deep personal growth and collective learning. What is The Berrett-Koehler Foundation’s Action-Learning Fellowship? In 2018, we revamped one of our earliest programs and embarked on a four-month pilot with an inaugural cohort of five fellows. Based on its success, the second cohort (2.0) welcomed six fellows in 2018-2019. |

These trailblazers focused on areas as varied as increasing access to transitional housing and creating opportunities for members of traditionally marginalized communities to become real estate social entrepreneurs, building deeper community/identity in a street choir bringing music to protests and actions, launching an umbrella organization for health equity in Louisiana, and furthering an initiative applying regenerative thinking in rural communities around the world to enable regenerative systems change.
Our third cohort met in October 2019 for an eight-month experience - and what a time it turned out to be – Meet the fabulous 3.0 cohort!
