The past two months have been rapid response to the COVID-19 crisis. As COVID-19 sweeps the globe and causes unprecedented effects, non-profits, foundations, and governments are working to figure out the best course of action to serve their communities. I believe it is important now more than ever to seek feedback from the communities we serve as we navigate responding to the needs of our constituents in a time of crisis. Listening and acting on feedback is a critical component of ensuring our actions are effective and equitable. Coming out of this crisis we are going to need a mindset shift, and better listening is only the start of that.
