Join the Berrett-Koehler Foundation in co-creating successful communities of learning and action! Our November community harvest event attendees' responses to "What excites you about being here?” [Image description: A word cloud of different sized words and phrases. “Community” is the largest in the center, and some of the other words are learning, connection, curiosity, joy, rejuvenation, reflection.] This year, when so much has been in upheaval, when it has been plainly revealed that the world currently does not work for all, we have been anchored by the stories, the wisdom, and the insight of our community -- who still see, believe in, and build what is possible. "Community is success... it's how we move forward" ~ Rose Essiem, Action Learning Fellow Rose Essiem grounded twenty-five of us at our first annual/experimental Fall Harvest event on November 19th, as she reflected on her journey as an Action-Learning Fellow since last year, and searching for her place in the world as part of the Black diaspora since a young age. We invite you to hear more about her journey to develop the Diaspora Giving Project, a virtual hub for research, informed insights and collaborations focused on matters related to collective giving in global Black diaspora communities: Click on the image below to watch a 2 minute preview of Rose's reflection on what Community is Success, means to her And, we ask you to consider contributing to the Berrett-Koehler Foundation's Action Learning Fellowship to support young leaders like Rose to develop their vision, mission, and to expand their work and sense of success. Your help, alongside our small passionate team, the Berrett-Koehler community, and changemakers from around the country, will fund our next round of fellows. This is how we move forward collectively to create a world that works for all. Thank you for a donation of any amount to reach our year end goal of $12,000 toward next year’s Fellowship. At the BK Foundation, we know that going forward we will need to continue adapting, healing, co-creating, connecting, to generate a world that works for all – one Fellow and one cohort at a time. Despite the challenges of this year, we are happy to report that we are still here. With your help, we will continue to be here now. Comments are closed.
